Увеличение экспорта приносит стране дополнительный доход в иностранной валюте и стимулирует совокупный спрос на отечественную продукцию (см. Export multiplier). Это дает возможность увеличить импорт. Платежный баланс страны в таком случае находится в состоянии равновесия, что способствует в результате достижению устойчивого экономического роста. См. Мультипликатор экспорта
Отношение величины прироста национального дохода страны к возросшей величине спроса на ее экспорт. Вливание дополнительных доходов от экспорта в кругооборот национального дохода (см. Circular flow of national income model) многократно увеличивает его относительно первоначального роста объемов экспорта. Величина мультипликатора экспорта зависит от предельной склонности страны к сбережению, импорту и налогообложению. Чем выше склонность к сбережению и т.д., т.е. чем значительнее «изъятия» из потока доходов, тем меньше величина мультипликатора. Рассмотрим график. Дополнительный доход от экспорта приводит к росту совокупных вливаний, и график вливаний смещается вправо, что увеличивает национальный доход с Y1 до Y2.
